Information handled as part of a consulting engagement may be subject to a separate agreement or privacy notice. This policy does not replace those arrangements or limit rights you have under applicable law.

Information you provide
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organization, role, and the contents of your message. The website contact form asks for your name, organization (optional), email address, and message. We may also retain correspondence and information about a proposed engagement so we can respond and manage the inquiry.
Please do not include patient information, health records, government identification numbers, financial account details, passwords, or confidential client materials in an initial website inquiry. If an engagement requires sensitive information, we will discuss an appropriate method for sharing it.
Information processed when you visit
Our hosting provider processes and logs technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, and the time of a request. When you submit the contact form, the website keeps a technical delivery log of the submission for 14 days, as described in Section 5.
We do not use analytics services, advertising identifiers, location profiling, or interaction recording on this website.
External resources
The website loads its typefaces (EB Garamond and Libre Franklin) from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Google describes its handling of this information in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. The website does not load other external scripts, embedded media, or third party resources.

Our website and domain are hosted by Northwest Registered Agent, and our email is hosted by Microsoft. 5. Retention and security
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of the nature of the inquiry, any ongoing business relationship, legal and recordkeeping obligations, and the need to resolve disputes or protect rights.
Specifically: the website retains a technical delivery log of each contact form submission for 14 days to confirm delivery and troubleshoot problems, after which it is deleted. The email produced by a form submission, and other business correspondence, is retained for as long as we have a business or legal reason to keep it. Our hosting provider retains standard server logs according to its own schedule.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on our systems. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your requests and choices
You can contact us at contact@hgmaconsulting.com to ask about personal information you have provided or request a correction or deletion. If you receive promotional emails from us, you can ask us to stop sending them; we may still send communications needed to respond to an inquiry or manage an engagement.
Depending on your location and whether a particular law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to, restrict, or opt out of certain processing. Some laws also provide a right to appeal a decision about a privacy request or complain to a regulator.
To submit a request, email us with enough information to identify the request and the information involved. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate method. We will respond as required by applicable law, including explaining any applicable exception or further steps. To request review of a decision, contact the same address with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
7. Where information is processed
HGMA is based in the United States, and the providers described in this policy process website and inquiry information in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.
8. Children and other websites
This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps.
Links to other websites do not make their privacy practices subject to this policy. Review the policies of any external services you use.
